Does anyone know any remedies or quick fixes for colds?
Posted by: Alan in sinus remedies, tags: Anyone, colds, fixes, Know, Quick, RemediesI’m in Guys & Dolls tomorrow (and its my final high school performance!), and unfortunatly I’m sick. I need a quick way to get better by tomorrow. I became sick on Sunday, and have been taking amoxcillian, sudafed, robitussin, & drinking throat coat (just got it today). My symptoms are a stuffy nose, sore throat (that has gotten surprisingly dry), headache, sinus congestion, cough attacks, and i’m achy. Any solution would be amazing since I have lines & I’m mic-ed throughout all ensemble songs.

Zicam really helps get over colds quick, i get the nose swabs, i know it sounds gross but i swear it really works….. somehow…. i love it, its like magic!

My friend tol me that…Cold-eez, or whatever it’s called is really effected and cuts the cold in half. It depends on the person..cuz i just read up top that someone uses Zicam..that never works for me, but it does for him.

I vote for Zicam, too. It really works best when you first feel a cold coming on, but it can’t hurt now. The penicillin’s not going to do a thing for you unless you have a bacterial infection, so drop that. I’d probably drop the Robitussin dose before your performances, because it can make you fuzzy and you need to be right on. Try some Alka Seltzer too. Probably, you’ll be fine cuz you’ll get amped up and you’ll forget about being sick. But afterward, oh boy, you’ll crash hard.
One other option, is to call your doc and get some TamiFlu since it kinda sounds more like a flu, with the body aches and all. Talk about a miracle drug. It’s spendy though.
