At Home Remedies For Sinus Relief?

Saline… that is just salt water… if you CAN go buy a bottle at the drug store it would of course be better than snorting water up your nose… this will help make the stuff in your sinuses break up and run out. Also steam is great. If you dont have a vaporizer, go sit in the bathroom and turn on the shower as hot as it will go (dont get in it!) and just breathe in the steam. This will also make it run out.

Boil water with citrus peels like orange or lemon peels and breath in the steam.

Taking 3 to 6 high strength odourless 3,000 mg garlic oil capsules every day helps.
Also switching from mucus generating dairy products and red meat to soy milk and white meat helps as well.

Hi soprecious31, you can try to use a peppermint steam or eucalyptus steam. This option provides incredibly fast relief for sinus headaches. This is because peppermint or eucalyptus itself acts as a decongestant. A combination then of warm steam and the essential oil is highly effective in regards to being able to open up and relieve the sinuses.
